Arranged is a 2007 American independent film produced by Cicala Filmworks. The film was written by Stefan Schaefer and is based in part on the story of Rochel Meshenberg, an Orthodox Jewish woman from Borough Park, Brooklyn and her This review was published in The Times. Arranged is the kind of film that brought me joy to watch because it celebrates the choices of women to whom religion is not just important, but critical in their lives. Excellent acting by the two main characters is the only thing going for this movie. The main problem with this movie is that every character outside of the two main characters is an exaggerated stereotype.
