The ANU theses collection can be searched online via the Library Catalogue. ANU honours theses are held by the ANU Colleges. Some ANU honours theses are available in electronic form via the ANU Research Digital Theses collection.

ANU Honours theses are held by the ANU Colleges with the exception of selected ANU Law Honours theses which are held in the Law Library. Some ANU electronic PhD, MPhil, and Doctorate by Research theses, are available in the ANU Research Digital Theses collection.

The Honours Thesis makes up Part B of the final Honours Examination for students wishing to graduate with an honours degree. For this course a student must complete an honours thesis on a topic of their choice, under the supervision of a member of the academic staff or a person approved by the Course Convenor. ANU Honours theses are held by the ANU Colleges with the exception of selected ANU Law Honours theses which are held in the Law Library.

Some ANU electronic PhD, MPhil, and Doctorate by Research theses, are available in the ANU Digital Theses collection or the search box below. ANU theses are harvested by the National Library of Australia's Trove service and other search engines, making them fully discoverable online.

Honours students in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences are highly valued and the College recognises Honours as a significant, transitional year between undergraduate studies and postgraduate study or employment; Honours prepares the way for high achievement in both. A Bachelor degree with Honours is the most effective means of qualifying for higher degrees (PhD or MPhil) in the future.

Working closely with your supervisor, you will complete an additional year of your degree, focusing on one of your majors. You will study further advanced coursework and write a thesis on a research topic of your choice.
